hello all. i need help really badly :( when i try to scan my library pass it comes out to light and it looks fake. here what the real thing looks like

all i need is for someone with good photoshop skills is to make the lettering darker and the picture in the backround more darker. i would GREATLY!! appreciate this. please anybody... please :) please help asap.

my photoshop skills are to newbish to do this kinda professional job :(

see how the backround is more faded out in the scanned version than in the r

real? same with the lettering. please help once again.

There should be a setting in the scanning software to decrease brightness....try that when you scan, we can't recover stuff that isn't there (yet--Intel's working on it, but it still wouldn't help you in this case).

yeah, that scan is fairly useless. the logo simply isnt there in the scan. like vapor said, adjust scanner settings, or get us a real clear high-res photograph.

I tried to get it to work but the pic was just too blurry. The fold wasn't too much of a problem but the blurriness just wouldn't mesh.

Anyway, I didn't know Pinkerton had library passes (I went to Exeter), what're they for and would we be helping you do something against the rules? :nono:

Maybe try making a few copies of it first to work with...use a black piece of construction paper over the pass perhaps (you may also try this with the scanner)

You could just darken parts of the copies manually from there and see how that works.
