As title says... Games run fine but every 2 or 3 days we have to reset our linksys wireless router or webpages load slower than 56k... What's up with that?

Are all the PC's connected to the router itself (wireless or wired)?

Is it set up for DHCP? or do you static each PC?

What model number is the router?

Cable or DSL?

4 wired PCs
2 wireless (brothers desktop and my ibook)

DHCP

So the internet is set to receive DHCP from Comcrap and the router doles out IP addy's for the PC's.

This slow downloading is on all PC's? Wired or wireless?

WRT54G that's it. And yes, thats the path it takes.

It's slow loading pages but DLing and gaming is fine.

Maybe their DNS servers are just slow...try setting the DNS servers statically at each PC and set like 4 or 5 of them.

Google for some public DNS servers.

i have the same router and some of the same problems as you stated so i did some research and found a that these routers are really sweet you can get third party firmware for them to make them like those high dollar cisco stuff and totally tweat the heck out of it. i guess in a way its ocing it lol.. but if you need some info on it pm me and i can give you some links to what i am using.
