I recently bought a pair of Ballistix modules (512mb each). They're not a 2x512 dual kit, I bought them as separate modules... To later find out that they don't work well togheter :(
Here are some screenies to illustrate my problem
These are results with only 1 module installed:
200mhz 2-2-2-8 (rated memory timings):

-
250mhz 3-3-3-8 (didn't try to lower the timings, testing purpose only):

-
270mhz 3-3-3-8 (same):

I tested with ALL the memory slots, all worked just fine. Tested both modules, both performed just the same.
Now, dual channel settings:
200mhz 2-2-2-8 (I forgot to bring out the CPU-Z timing window, doh):

250mhz 3-3-3-8:

270mhz 3-3-3-8:

I was very happy with my modules, I paid almost nothing to change my old crap TCCC for this, and it ran at 270mhz, just sweet! But then I did the bandwidth tests and, that came up :/
I also tested with different BIOS, got the same result.
Now, my question is:
1 - Does micron chips have any incompatibility issues with the A8N-SLI Deluxe?
2 - Does micron chips lose that much efficiency when working in dual channel?
3 - There could be an incompatibility between the memory and the controller on my Venice? (Venice 3000+ 0516, 2700mhz @ 1.5v)
4 - None of the above is true, I just got unlucky and my modules don't work well togheter.
Any input is appreciated... Thanks in advance. :)
