Hi

I want to know what is the best HX types for chillers ?

TYPE 1

http://www.cooling-masters.com/images/articles/zytrachill/images/chiller_apn1.jpg

Zytrahus'es Zytrachill :)

so

A eg. 10 or 12 mm (3/8' or 1/2') , 5 meters evap , convoluted in coil and puted into a water-reservoir (eg. 5 liters) .

TYPE 2

Mine ChilleR22

so

A 45-50 cm (20') of 54 mm (2') with a eg. 4 meters of 3/8' coil evap inside . Water just flow inside the 54mm pipe and is cooled by coil which is evap .

TYPE 3

Raven's Smart Chiller :)

so

A evap pipe inside the pipe which water flows ...but I think of eg. 4meters of 15mm pipe with 8mm pipe as a evap inside - convoluted in vertical coil (as a HXes in cascades) .

Which type is the best for eg. 2 water blocks ?

Let say each evap "feeded" by captube (not TXV of CPEV) and with 1/5-1/2 HP compressor .

Regards
Peter

In that chiller HX is really bad, i should make it in verticall position. That chiller is waiting for plate hx actually.

There are those fin tubes... might be better suited. Don't know how much it cost per foot though.
