Bit distinct for mach unit the way it is setup. I do have few questions to verify just to get some idea on reasoning behind few things. Anyone recognize whose work this is?

Thanks :)
Work to be performed:
rearranging condenser compressor direction for different foot print.
complete new suction with chilly1 evap.
adding desuperheater.
R402a charge.
adjusting cap tubing for FX57 1.75v or so.
Yup, the typical mach modification :P
Potentially swapping compressor to NF7CLX to obtain lower temp.
PS) OH and the leak happens at the usual place of mach unit. The suction hose.

Nah this guy bought it overseas. (of course, that doesn't tell where it came from since I've seen units flying back and forth :P) Was going to ask for cap tubing used, what that thing in suction line is, and few other thing but it doesn't matter now. Going to give this one nice remake... (well actually there will be only few things that will be used on this system :P)

Was going to ask for cap tubing used, what that thing in suction line is, and few other thing but it doesn't matter now. That "thing" in the suction line is an accumulator I think.

Hmmm....that thing in the suction line could be either an accumulator or a check valve. I've seen that drier positioning before in Berkut's work, IIRC......

Looks like Berkut to me too.

Interesting. Thanks for the pointers :)
The filter drier was horizontal which I didn't like much at all. BTW, thing on suction line was suction accumulator after disassembling (shook it and heard nothing hehe, and there was no typical direction sign which is on check valve). Man, why do people outside US have easy time getting this stuff (copper suction accumulator)... I can't find one in US (even called few manufacturers to find they stopped making it once GE stopped using it.
I am going to give him pretty much new unit that I am going to work up using Danfoss NF7CLX (1/3+ hp), bigger condenser, and Chilly1 evap. NF7CLX is tad loud for my projects and NF9FX would be better fit considering noise. Last unit I made with NF7CLX was comparible to my Americold 1/3 or 1/2hp in temperature so I am looking to see good result for his benching and this time it is newer revision of Chilly1 evap too :) Bit noisey but I doubt I will hear compressor over tha Sunon 120CFM fan really lol.
Will post progress here for his benefit :)

that's insane that you guys can tell who made it... @.@
How the heck can you guys tell the difference? ^^

Probaly the sleeves, wire ties, brazed joints, placing of parts... ya know, things that can be put in different places and made differently

That one is very distinct. Look at how the filter is placed, i have only seen Berkut do that. And the accumulator, too.

I knew someone was in here lol. Don't worry your baby is going to turn into something else while this customer of mine will get bit different setup much more suited for his need :) Time to walk out and braze up the joins.

Well now it turned better suited for his need on dimension and have chilly1 evap and Danfoss NF7CLX (1/3+ hp compressor...bigger brother of Vapo LS).
Still tuning and evaluating what might be best for his need as I don't have FX57 to tune with. Guestimating using X2 :P
Unit is slightly overcharged but I prefer it over undercharged system for obvious reasons... :P
http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=39340&stc=1
No desuperheater on this one since condenser is big and have very fast churning fan with very good shroud.

Size comparison for mach bottom plate. Hope this is enough for you Steve.
Windows idling temp...@ 1.65v :P Still pondering over cap tubing length at the moment... I see a little more variance than I thought with 9ft 4inch cap tubing. Maybe reducing it a little might help... but not sure...

Pic taken while above temp on evap.

Pic taken while dual priming with my x2 2.95ghz 1.65v. This time I am not tuning it for 1.7v as I doubt anyone will want to play FX with 1.8v :p

Dude why are u using a 12 year old S3 video card?

LMAO, cause I don't have any other PCI-E gpu other than my 7800gtx on my main rig :P And what you see above is my load tester not my rig :P Have tad bigger 20" Viewsonic LCD, etc for my main rig :) Has it been that long since S3 came out? Geez... I am not even that old and been in industry for too long I guess.
