2 different questions

My computer has been running well for almost 2 years and about 6 months of that was with a Mach 1 (was on air). Recently I have been getting BSODs at random times. I tried reformatting, new hdds, and new ram. I'm almost positive its not a driver related problem. I spent about 2 days condensation proofing when I build it. I did have one problem though.. the screws that attach the head and back plate were kind of striped and didn't tighten down very well.

1) Is this a symptom of condensation? Or does it just kill parts instantly?

2) Also.. I am building a socket 939 system this month and have the prommie on a P4 478 system now. Will I have any problems using the Mach 1 evap head (the black part) if I make a custom plexi bracket and use the mobo's original heatsink bracket?

Yes this can be a sign of condensation problems and no it may not kill things right away.

One thing that doesn't make sense.... it will do it in 5-30 minutes when playing a game, but I'll run two instances of F@H all night long with no problem. The BSODs are also different most of the time.

what does the BSOD say....

Memory is clocked too high or video card. Lower tad bit each until this problem is gone. Sometimes it is insufficient PSU power or not so clean rail that has problem keeping up. What is your full spec of system? First thing I will try is to put the system from your sig down to:
lower memory speed.
If problem persist than try lowering video overclock while putting memory speed back up.
Than next step would be to lower overclock of CPU.
If all else fails, swap PSU.

hmmm.. haven't thought about the psu.

I haven't even been ocing the video card recently. I get many different BSODs. Sometimes it will say it was caused by a file and sometimes its just the sets of numbers and letters. When I search m$ support for the "stop 0x0xx" they aren't related so I stopped recording them. They all say they are related to a hardware device or drivers anyway.

I'm starting to think my system doesn't like 1:1 @ 275.. I'm gonna go back to what I ran it at before with my bh5, 5:4 290. I'm thinking the NB can't handle the speed... but it did run at these speeds for well over a month. I know its not a ram or hdd problem bc I switched them out with other parts to check them.

Anyone know how much the p4c800e can handle?

Would I be able to monitor the psu with software and then run prime to check for stability or is that not accurate?

So far, so good.. I can't believe the memory bus can't handle over 265. I know I saw some people run 300 1:1.. oh well, at least I think the problem is solved.
