I'm connected to the Net through a D-Link router. Can't connect eMule properly (Low Id, ports test fails). I forwarded ports, diabled firewall, assigned static IP none worked. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I'm gonna have to go and suggest not using eMule or any other P2P software unless you want viruses of course. If you NEEED to DL stuff you BitTorrent and or IRC Spy....or maybe MAYBE DC++...Emule=viruses

:ROTF:
You should be a hell of an unlucky guy. I'm using eMule 24/7 for 3 years and I NEVER got a virus from eMule (I've never got a virus at all).
Use eMule, but find a good site of certified content and download just that.

Maybe Emule is different than it used to be...Because I recall it being a ghetto ass P2P network riddled with Viruses...is it a pay service now?

it's not a pay service, and it's gotten a lot better than when it first started. i've been using it for a few years and at first it was kind of bad, but in the last year or two i haven't had any problems. i've probably downloaded about 100 gigs of stuff and i've had one corrupt file and no viruses.

your routers port forwarding is not all that hot. To use emule correctly with that rig you pretty much have to put it in the DMZ.

What server do you connect to on eMule?
What's a good one?
