Oh man something went wrong for me. I was ocing and screwing around with 3dmark with the 32OO+ venice at 2.75ghz on 1.6v. It froze and I didnt turn it off till like 5 seconds later, and now I can't get it to boot at all. It just does nothing, so did I kill the athlon (question mark keys broken on this notebook. It would be a shame since I got just got the athlon about 12 hours ago.

Try a cmos reset, unplug the power cord etc. That should work :)

Remove the power cord, and pop out the battery for a few hours or so.

Try different ram. Only thing I've ever had spontaniously die on me while in use was ram.

Would be nice if I have anything other than this bh5 to test with.

Ive tried everything suggested but I can't get this thing going. The on button makes it just come on for half a second and then turn off again. I've reset the cmos a few times, no avail. I've taken a look at the athlon itself and it looks just fine. This whole thing went down this morning and even then I couldnt smell anything burned at all.

Man... I wish I would've just gone to bed instead of all this unnecessary ocing. Shouda just quit at 2.5ghz...

perhaps your bios is corrupt, you should contact your mainboard manufacturer for a new one. That, besides the ram according to lithan, is the only thing i can think of.

i've had this happen, unplug everything from board, including shiny battery, takes 8hrs to a day... plug it back in and it should work ... there is no explination for why it works, but it does.

I will do what you said.

If it works, I will paypal you some money.

I'm not sure how much, but I will pay you.

Cuz this chip seems insane, I just am not used to it yet.
