Im thinking of going Job Hunting maybe working in food lion or something ( a Grocery store) maybe stocking shelvs or something. Anyway It'll be my first job little nervous.

Anyway after a month i think I'll be able to make between 1500-2000$ im guessing :P

This is the pc i was thinking of making i need help picking a video card

X2 4400+ Toledo 2x1Meg L2
2x1Gig pc4000 Crucial Ballistix
(Help me on a video card) anything under $500
DFI Lanparty NF4 SLI ( or maybe something diff )

I'll need a new power supply also since i know my 550 Antec wont handle this

I was thinking about the 7800GTXOC from BFG, but after getting the 6800GT and finding out my early 6800GT had the defective video processor and that shimmering driver problem im not sure if thats a good idea. I dont pay much atten to ATI anymore but if i were to go that direction which would be my best bet for $500 and under.

Oh yea any ideas to push me into trying to get a job would be cool, im a shy person IN person so ima little nervous.

im an ati boy so I'd say get an x1800xl

as for getting a job, little advise i got from someone. always make a clear entrance. Let them know you're present, e.g a funny remark, but offcourse don't exaggerate or try to be funny, just be yourself.
Looking for a job is plain simple actually. Ask around.
and if you've got "but what if" thoughts, just erase them, they keep you from concentrating.

1500-2000$

Keep on dreaming...

Or are you going to work for 100 hours a week?

I work 38 hours a week as a software engineer and I don't even make that kind of money. Before taxes, insurance etc yes, but after there isn't much left.

when I worked in a grocery store, i made maybe $200 a week. If you go and work construction, you might be able to make that much in a month, but not stocking shelves. Sorry Bud.

Your job hunt for entry level jobs is just a numbers game. Put in 20 applications, get 5 interviews, get one job. Relax, listen and ask questions that show you have an interest in the work thats being done. Don't geek out and explain how you're saving for an Uber OC rig. :p:

Once you have the job ... work hard and get ready to have your paychecks violated by the feds. :D After actually finding out how hard it is to make a buck in the real world, and saving your pennies for your rig, hopefully you don't decide to go for a Dell. ;)

You won't make that kind of money at a grocery store, most likely. You should be able to make that as a waiter. You mention you are shy, and I think that becoming a waiter could help you overcome that. It is helpful to have excellent communication skills. I worked as a waiter for 8 years and continue to do so even though I work 40 hours a week as a medical device engineer. The skills I developed as a waiter have helped me out as a medical device engineering contractor/consultant to effectively communicate my ideas. In doing this, I have been able to negotiate to do things the way I would like them to be done.

Wait for the X1800 Xt so you have more options. Also the DFI NF4 expert will be out soon.

Do you do a lot of multi-tasking? If so this setup is fine otherwise go with the FX line
