HI
I hope that got your attention as it is true.I can run 220fsb with a mobile 1.7 P4 using the 1/6, 1/5,1/4 divider but running 33 fixed is a no go after 198fsb as the agp just craps out.

I do feel that setting any divider just puts the board into auto mode as i had no problems with any from 1/4 to 1/6 at 220fsb.

Pilsy has had similar results and also feels the lock may be a con.Check it out for yourself, you may find a few megs left in your cpu if you do!!

I have been wondering the same. I havent found a way to check accurately if my pci lock works or not. I have been using the low strap and lock pci at 37mhz. What do you reccomend?

If you have one of the modded bios's loaded just set the divider to 1/5 under200fsb and 1/6 at or over 200 and see how you go on.

Well I know that the dividers work at their correct settings. Reason being my R9700 craps out @ 76mhz agp (38mhz PCI). Thats 152mhz when using the 1/4 divider and 191mhz when using the 1/5 divider. Change to 1/6 @ 190FSB and im good up to 232mhz. Fix it to 37mhz and I cant get over 185FSB.

Very interesting !

Pilsy, is it true with the 4PEA as well ? Cos what I've noticed is that I get less OC on the CPU with this R9700 than with the TI500........cooling and temp are still the same. When I had a MX440, I got even worse OC....Might be the AGP/PCi thingy...
