Hi @ all! :)

Actually I'm searching for the SMALLEST comp on earth! :D
It doesn't matter if it's AC (if so... 230V - NOT 115V!!) oder DC, no matter of which brand etc etc etc...

All it has to be that it's the smallest comp I can buy! :D
(Smaller than PL50F for example!!)

So... think about it and post! :D :stick: :p:

THX A LOT!

regards

Technically, one of those minuscule MP3 players is a computer. It has a processor, input, output, and storage. :)

Have you considered a handheld machine?

Sry but ur wrong there bro, theres a german company that makes a compressor for an AC for computer cooling its the same size and shape as a 355ml pop can and its a rotary its the smallest compressor i've ever seen, its 230v and it would cost $300 canadian or more to get it.

coyote was thinking to use it for vga direct die

Of course, just for play :) Reggie did similar thing with min recently and found it not holding load but showing good temp. I think this will be safer way to learn how to build cascade :) BTW, I see they have 45 of same series too... same dimension you think?

no :(
the 1/6hp model is bigger, and 1/3 is giant :p, more than any danfoss, tecumseh or embraco, but, it's looks that they work better than any other!!!!

But the computer does the braining for you :p:

But in all seriousness

The smallest I've seen/used are the tecumseh horizontal rotary compressors, a RV compressor that vibrated at at the hz of the voltage fed to it (60hz here), and a really really really small compressor used in a home pop dispensing machine, I thing chilly1 still has one of these.

The smallest compressor I could get my hands on without too much looking about would be 1/20hp, 2.23cc.

Jack

Smallest compressor that i've seen in the flesh would be de danfoss BD35.
But that's not a really small one... people already posted smaller ones :)
Don't refrigerators have small and usable compressors?

That really helps! :D THX A LOT! :)

Ehm... yes... I mean small in size... and I'm not looking for a Personal Computer....
I'm looking for a compressor! :D
But ... keep it up like this!

@ all who have posted some infos about a "mini comp":....
Please post more infos, especially the size (in mm's or cm's please - NOT "/feet)
... and some links would be really nice!

My biggest problem is that I live in Austria... so if someone could sell and ship on of the smallest ones to Austria for a pretty low price... just say it! :D
(it does NOT matter if its a used or a new one... but used would be better (--> cheaper! ;)))

Would be nice if it's a german one because the shipping to Austria
would be really cheap in this case! :)
So... PLEASE POST SOME MORE INFOS, LINK ,...!

Danfoss BD35F has 2,0cc so it's not the smallest! :p:
But THX for this info anyway! :)

This type is called a Bullet Piercing Valve.

I know exactly what it does, and it is a pin valve. You clamp it on and turn in the center screw, which is connected to a pin that pierces the tubing, then you turn it counterclockwise to use it.
