Is it possieble to overclock Hp workstation XW 6200???
I`m spending hours for making simulations and I can`t find the way to overclosk that machine!!
It has Xeon CPU - nocona 3.2 E0 rewvsion. It should overclock well, but how to do it on that board???
Please hepl me ;-)

more than likely your gonna need either a hacked bios or maybe by use of a program like clockgen. I had nocona's for a while, 3.0s and I was able to hit 3.4, but they put out a ton of heat.

99% of all factory built machines have their overclocking settings locked up at the bios level. They dont want any PC user going in there and trying to crank their fsb up to 350 and frying their proc and ram.

Check PLL chip on the board & find suitable clockgen (cpuid.org). If clockgen works, try to increase vcore by pin modding the sockets.

Probably you work with CAE also :D . I use to work with that workstation also (but it was dual 3.4Ghz ) , now using a Dell Precision . I haven't find a way to do that :(

by northbridge E7525 using Clockgen 9.0 ,Fix PCiE ,but donot fix PCI.
