ok, heres the thing. modem is in the basement, connected to a wireless router. the router connects to my wireless adapter 2 floors up, which is fine. heres the thing, soon I will have 3-4 rigs running in this room, and I do have a wired router, so how can I share the internet that the comp with the wireless adapter with the rest of the computers in here with the wired router? I cant figure it out. :confused:

Kinda an odd setup, but the best thing to do would be to use ICS on the computer that connects wireless to the router downstairs. Connect the computer with wireless adapter to new wired router and turn off DHCP on the wired router. Never tried this so you might have to assing static addresses to the new comps connected to the wired router and point them to the ICS machine (one with wi-fi adapter).

I'm tired and can't think clearly atm, but thats the only way I can think of right now.

I use a similar setup. One PC with wired + wireless NICs installed and bridging enabled that 3 client PCs connect through for net/resource access. I had random connection problems with ICS so i switched to static addresses and a Proxy setup (Proxy plus, free DL) and haven't looked back since.
