Hi!
When I had 1 single stick of ram I was able to do about 2744MHZ stable. With 2 sticks of RAM (512 each) I can only do 2694MHZ stable anything else and 3dmark 2001 crashes to desktop but still I can Super Pi 32MB at 2703. Do you think adding better cooling like a Big Typhoon or some water cooling (Aquagate Mini 120 being my only option) will help my OC or is my OC limited by my 754 single channel memory controller. I know the 754 CPUs are famous for having poorer OC when using 2 sticks of 512MB so I dont know if getting better cooling will help me or not. Anyone?
BTW, is the Aquagate mini comparable to the Typhoon? I ask cause I need to move my PC and while someone told me that moving the PC with the typhoon wasnt a problem as long as I move it with the PC horizontally, I just realize that when I move it to a lan party I cant do it horizontally cause my Toyota MR2 is very limited in space so vertical is the only way for me to carry it.
Regards
ps sorry for posting in wrong place.
