ok neighbors just handed me a free Viewsonic G810 21" CRT

very nice monitor cept its out of focuz.
its got a slite fuzziness too it but in general its just out of focus
It was made in 2001, and she has had it for 3 years but the last 6 months is when it started getting fuzzy. It was also a tad dark

I opened it up and adjusted the brightness and also the 2 hor. and vert. phase adjustments and got it cleared up a tiny bit but it still needs the skilled hands of a crt technicial.

there is not really any ghosting from the phse being off kilter but like i say its just out of focuz.

anyone know how to fix this ? aside from the 3 nobs inside ?

there were also three knobs below those directly on the PCB in the monitor.
they were White, Green, White and i slow turned each one thinking they were the color but nothing changed.

so.. anyone got any ideas or any technical sites who go indepth about fixing CRT focus.

Be careful what you touch. Monitor can rock your world with super high voltage.

Focus is on the flyback next to the brightness control.

You can also reseat the PCB on the back on the back of the yoke.

I have a 20" Sony, (520) that doesn't turn on when it's powered up.
Although I have ran through the diagnostics to check the tube, that still works.

Any idea about the power?
