I've been thinking...

Phase Change database.
SS & cascade

pic, parts, temps, load

it will help see what parts r best and also a little compatition ... best SS and best cacade :)

what do u think guys ?

Too much variable. But at least one good thing will be you can kind of expect what to get when you have similar components :) What is the format? I think I have about 4 I can put in for single stage.

I think we should definitely have something like this, but no extraneous posts (ie, just submissions). Should probably have stuff like:
compressor HP and displacement
cap tube length and diameter
refrigerant used
evap/evap style used
condenor size

anything important that i'm forgettin?

i have yet to see a really good guide for single and cascade building with pics and such. Someone should do that. If i were really good at building units i would do one

Another thing, there is no standard on load testing. It seems to me there are 2 groups of load testers with some having really good contacts and insulation that closely matches with CPU's output while some others that just doesn't. Probably best way to talk about load is cpu, voltage, overclocked amount and prime95. (memory do impact temperature but only about 5-10w on CPU itself depending on how heavily overclocked, size, dual channel, etc)

u left out fan.

I belive we should keep it a simple as possible...

there is on DB here - http://www.cooling-masters.com/bdd_realisation.php -
it's not too informative due.

I think it's a must to have a DB of SS and cascades here on XS, somthing like the WR DB.

it would be really cool would know what to expect with the compressor gas config.

sticky ?

we should have a post format:

compressor HP and displacement
cap tube length and diameter
refrigerant used
evap/evap style used
condenor size

somthing like that
