View Full Version : Blew a fuse today

Part of my DX farm was down for about half a day when a fuse blew. I went in after dinner and brought all but one of them back on. Let's hope it doesn't happen again tonight. I'll check everything out tomorrow to make sure the electricals are good. Damage? Around 1.5k cands of production lost.

I think it was a dastardly plan by the :cow:'s
I hope everything comes back up just fine and holds again with no problems.

Atleast u got it back up. Might be time to change those 30amp breakers to 40amp.

Well I've located the socket with the blown 13A fuse. Looks like the breakers are fine. If I resurrect the one remaining DX rig and reroute a few power cables tomorrow it will be back to normal.

13Amp fuse :confused:

Nah, (I think) he's meaning the 13Amp fuse in one of the 4/8/16 way gang plugs went... I have a similar problem (Decent Audio Kit with Good speakers pulls a hell of a load on full whack.. the neighbours rejoice when it blows the Fuse! Usually on a really deep rolling bass note :stick: )

yep most of the world is at 220-240v, 110-120v is only really found in north America Japan and areas that have had siginificant american involvement.

Hong Kong uses the british standards iirc (its been a while since i was there)

Well ever since the kitten incident of 1999 I haven't been able to leave the state... so I don't get out much I guess.

No, sir. You changed it when I changed mine to Banned. This was when we were playing that little joke a few months back. we owned Perkam on that night, remember? :lol:
