Hello everyone glad to be abord, i bring with me my 3000+ E3 @2.6 that packs out around 120-140 a day. and various others that iv commandeered around my dorm for a total of about 3.5 Ghz give or take a few...

so how does this subteam thing work, do indiviuals perminantly cese to exist and what about adding new nodes?

hmm good point about adding nodes, either use your node.prp from your main machine or when registering a new node I guess you use the CircleOfDestruction email address which happens to me mine :confused: brendangiles at hotmail dot com

We merged with Acrazar which gave us 3000 odd candidates and another 100+ cands a day, we posted 350 or so active rigs candidates and I just realized whats wrong with Mr.Celly.... he ran out of work hence why he was "initializing" - So thats 2000 cands to upload :woot:

I keep forgetting to load up D2OL on my A64...... I had to reformat... AGAIN, second time in under 5 days, well when i did reformat on Fri. @ 10PM CDT..... Anyway, So how was it i was supposed to get D2OL to load up everytime on my p4 and run as Administrator whilst someone is logged into a "user" account?

Be smart... Create an iso-image of every OS cd you have and save them as data on a DVD... that way you can always burn a copy if something goes wrong... ;)

I have 2 (yes, two) backup DVD's with every OS I own on them safely tucked away... whenever I need something I just take the disk and burn a copy... :cool:
On top of that, I have a Ghost-image (fresh install + mobo drivers) of every rig on a backup HDD and on DVD... you can't be carefull enough :p:

I originally done this to install that MEGA small WinXp Haltech uploaded only I couldnt get it to pick up after I burned it to disc, So I started installing Windows MCE... couldnt get that to install ..... tried installing SP1 Win XP Pro and the disc wouldnt read. So then I tried installing Win 2003 again couldnt install cos I couldnt find a key (ah shut it, its the only Windows disc which would read, get off my back you pirate haters).

Now im trying to install Win Xp Pro SP2 and I hate that with passion (SP2) but its all I have which is working :(

I have saved partition room for the other really small WinXp by Hlatech so if someone wants to tell me how the frick to install it... it would be greatly aprreciated

Well this little 2.4Celeron has pushed out 209 Cands since I installed it about two weeks ago or so, that is only letting it run overnight like 4 times.... I still have yet to figure out how to set up my friggin install on my P4 to run everytime someone logs in as "Family" since that's a limited account, (i dont let anybody download + install without my say so) lets me keep things the way they should be without having to reformat that damn thing every two months..... that and it lost 50GB of storage when SMART decided to go out on the 80GB which works fine as the "secondary" drive in my machine.

1. Create new user1 (u) w/ one node/
2. Create a temp user2 w/ the next node
3. Merge user2 into user1
4. Repeat 2, 3 w/ all desired nodes, can reuse user2 since freed up by (3).

This is why noone can steal your nodes as long as YOU know what they are :D

what about those of us who wish to remain, can we get our nodes trasphered back to our username?
I have no idea how to do this seeing i didnt even know your could tranpher nodes in the first place

Wait Wait I'm lost here .. You mean to say that all of the nodes have been moved elsewhere ? Because I've got my 24/7 rig and my half duty 2.7Ghz A64 running and I probably put out more than that 250 so where's it all going ? Sorry I havnt been looking in this forum recently guys. :/

Edit: Right I'm back home now and as far as www.d2ol.com is concerned, my rigs are processing fine, and are getting added to the stats and all. :/
