I need help figuring out these sticks as I cannot get them stable at 290 mhz. With my vx 3200 sticks I was stable at 290x10 with a 5/6 divider.
Performance was good running 29,188 1m and 25m 49,125 32m.
I thought I'd try my 4800 sticks and see if I could better these numbers. But as for now I'm not even stable running 290x10.
The mem is run at 2,63v with the following settings:

I'm now at 285x10, currently 50% through OCCT. Had to set Trcd to 5, if not occt would stop after 1m 10s.
Temps are
cpu 44c 1.58v, ldt 1.36v
pwmic 40c
chipset 34c 1.46v
ram 31c read by tempprobe in the middle of the dim closest to cpu
It seems stable, but trcd is killing SuperPi times :(

When you were stable at 290*10 with a divider...the ram was running slower...the load on the memory controller was much lower.
To find the max stable with the ram at 1:1...you need to lower the CPU multi.
Just because a CPU will run stable at 2.9GHz when the ram is only running 250ish...doesn't mean the same CPU will be stable at 2.9GHz with a 1:1 ratio. the load on the memory controller is much higher.
Raise the FSB to 300...set the CPU multi to 8...then see if it passes OCCT, etc. :)

I lowered multi to 8 and used the settings above, but still not occt stable. I have used A64T to try out different Tref

Try tREF at 1552, 1560 or 1816 :)

This memory is driving me nuts. Tried all of your suggestions, but still no luck. What voltage is ideal for these v1.1 sticks?

These settings got me to DDR600 easily @2.7v with the same RAM (Bios 0618-1).

Also try drive strength of 5 or 7.

Thanks, I'll try your settings unless get stable on my current settings.
I have started from scratch again at 2.64v, 10x283, working my way through A64T tref settings. Tedious...

OK, occt finnished with a tref of 133 7,8 @ 10x283. Bumped it up to 10x286, occt failed after 1 min. Changed tref to 200 15,6 and occt has so far finnished 20%.
Lower the cpu multi. you may be pushing the memory controller to hard

I give up. I'll try again when I get my opteron in the rig.
