Hi, it installed fine etc and POSTs fine (latest beta bios btw-1024.001)

when it shows the windows logo and the process bar, it does that all perfectly but once it gets past there it just hangs at the black screen and doesnt do anything. :stick:

I just tried reinstalling windows and when it restarted to load the windows installation GUI bit (where it install devices etc), it does exactly the same thing and i just get a black screen.

any help? plz.. :(

ok.. got it working :)

dam this thing is quick! 2.3ghz - 36s 1M (for 20quid.. about $37) :D

BUT i think my p4c temp sensor is crappy.. yday it was reading my celeron d temp @ 41'C and it used to be 30 in my p4p800-x

when running superpi 1M @ 2.3ghz on this C-M asus probe started up and started telling me temps were 73'C!?!?! (stock cooler 1.5v)

it just can't be right..

next i'm gonna try fit my freezer 4 onto it.. wish me luck and hope for temp drops

165 fsb - 2.31ghz (1.45v)

been to 172fsb - something around 2.45 (1.5v)

haven't been higher yet

has a go with the freezer, managed to chip the corner of the core but it's still all good (worried when it didnt boot, only to find i didn't have the ct479 power cable plugged in :p)

35.1s 1M <-- dam this thing rocks!

edit: oh and pci/agp is locked :D:D
