Though i'd share my way of installing USB2.0
The files needed for this are provided on the cd & windows directory, but i was nice enough to upload mine for you guys.
*For all the fast people who know what they are doing, just right-click the USB2.INF file and press install. This will skip you through the below steps, continue w/ step 4*
1) Go into Device Manager>Other Devices> Select "Univeral Serial Bus Controller"(it should have question mark or something)
2) Press "Update Drivers"
3) When it gets to the part with the drivers list, press "Have Disk" then "Browse", and search for the directory where USB2.INF is.
4) Then once that's done, run the "U2v2_2_2"
5) Now it'll do everything else for you.

To tell whether it was a success or not, check this method out.

Good Luck guys! :toast:

Let me know if it works.

I don't mean to be a downer, but SP2 is faster than XP with no updates, and has less security issues.

What would the point of not running any SPs be?

Link please? Never though it would be faster, w/ all those services running.

Run 3D03 with no services packs, and then run with SP2.

See for yourself.

Plus there are so many security issues with pre-SP2 I'd never even consider connecting that machine to the internet.
