well i've been wanting to join XtremeSystems for a while after seeing all of your amazing setups/overclocks, but i've never felt worthy

I'm a senior member over at EOCF, and i love it there, but you guys definitely take the cake for overclocks.

i just ordered my new system and i finally feel worthy to be among the gods

here's what i'm on right now:

A-Top X-Blade (grills cut out, blowhole added)
Abit IC-7G
Pentium 4 2.6B @ 3.8GHz 1.62v (hit 4.0) on XP-90, Zalman ZM-F2
2GB OCZ Platinum Dual Channel
nVidia GeForce 6800GT @ 430/1200 with NV5 silencer
Creative Soundblaster X-Fi Platinum
Ultra X-Connect 500 watt (pre-2005, good rails)
120GB WD caviar
160GB seagate

and here's the system i just ordered, and it will all be here tomorrow, and then i start building :)

Thermaltake Tsunami
Asus A8N-SLI Deluxe
AMD Athlon 64 3700+ San Diego
2GB OCZ Platinum Dual Channel
nVidia GeForce 7800GT
Creative Soundblaster X-Fi Platinum
Enermax Whisper II 535 watt
120GB WD Caviar
160GB seagate

well there it is :)

i'll have some pictures up as soon as i finish building it

just 2 things my friend worst mobo for OC you could buy start thinking about buying the vantec iceberg for the chipset fan cuz the one with the board is going to die pretty fast...

and why you dont get TT big typhoon for the cpu :P

yeah i read about the chipset fan not being very reliable, i'll be sure and have a backup handy if i start hearing the noise. my Abit IC7-G's fan went out after about 4 months, and i replaced it with a stock 9800 Pro fan, worked pretty well.

and as far as the TT big typhoon... meh, if the CPU is too much for my XP-90 to handle then i might think about it, but i move my computer around a lot, so the huge typhoon hanging off would make me a little nervous :rocker:

you guys have way more smilies than EOCF

that is next to my stock cooler... quite big but it isnt that heavy is pretty light to be honest

the xp 90c is pretty nice but the TT is better :P so if you want to OC more just get BIGGER lol...

looking forward for the pics

a tip frfom one tsunami user to another: pull out that cheapp ass hd rack and put your hd in the fdd slot, and also if you pull off the side that doesnt have the window you can wire your psu through the back so it looks nice and neat if i can find the usb cord to my cam ill show you what cable management perfection looks like :D
p.s. the snap down pci holder thingie only works on half my stuff so i pulled it out lmao

here's benchmarks:

3dmark05 - 7950
http://service.futuremark.com/compare?3dm05=1353098

3dmark03 - 16,064 (stock graphics card)
http://service.futuremark.com/compare?2k3=4343244

AQ3 - 90,042 (stock graphics card)
http://forums.extremeoverclocking.co...1&d=1129979812

SuperPI - 28 seconds
http://forums.extremeoverclocking.co...4&d=1130201891

i'm still getting everything tweaked and set up, so no wire management quite yet, but it's still quite nice and tidy in there compared to most with my 3 hard drives.

i still have yet to get my X-Fi platinums front bay in, so that's going to add some stuff to hide.
