Out of the two sinks the Sonic tower is better but as UnG said we really need more information

uhm if you are watercooling why switch to air? In any case, lots of airflow...

TBH on that chip I doubt you will see a hell of a lot of diff between the two, I would go with the BT and enjoy the silence and price

Maybe he bought a venice whose previous owner had it at 2.9ghz watercooled...

I think I saw someone selling one that was advertised at those speeds. :o

I vote BT because it's a single-core chip and it's not THAT hot in either case.

Looks like a pain in the butt for not much gain. I'd go water, I hate that much noise.

I dont think its gonna be noisy as those nexus/yateloon fans are dam quiet :p

Three of anything is too much noise, depends on your tolerance level however, whatever floats yer boat in other words :)

3 is only ~5dBA more than 1, not too much noise for a lot of people if low/medium speed fans are used.

but it looks cool though.... :D :woot:

Im gonna try one if I can source some yateloon fans although I doubt it will be much better than my Big Typhoon ;)

i use the sonic fanless .. only case fan and psu fan on 5v is in the case. all my hd's are with silentmaxxx hd coolers and chipset is also fanless (my only heat problem, when i switch the case fan off)

very good cooler, very big! but yet why should i put a fan on it...

daliy run venice 300*9 @ 1.34v max load is 44gr with prime, normal work load games etc is 38-40gr
