Hello everybody
I just bought a pair of Geil One S Tccd sticks and placed them in my rig last night. I have used adata vitesta ddr 600 before and I've read the above article of how to tweak tccd memory. So I've put them to testing. First of all I couldn't get them to anymore than 275 mhz at 2.5-3-3-6 timings. I've tried all the combinations in a64 tweaker that's written in the article but it was no use. Btw I put them in the orange slots and I use 702-3 and also tried 702-1 bios. I gave them between 2.6 and 2.8 volts. I managed to make 2.5-4-3-7 at 300 and 310 mhz , also at 2.5-4-4-8 timings at 315 mhz. I made super pi 1m test but it was not stable I think bc memtest gives errors. I couldn't finish memtest without errors at 300 mhz even at stock timings which is 2.5-4-4-8. What could you recommend for me? I am using DFI SLI-DR mobo and A clawhammer FX55 processor.

drop your multi on the cpu to take it out the picture.

drive strengths 8 and 1
skew 255 decrease.

are the two things you should try, took my One from 270 2.5-3-3-5 to 300 2.5-3-3-5.

maybe you should post and A64 tweaker SS, just in case theres something you missed.

Thank you for your advice. I used your settings in the bios and here's what I got in the end. Is there anything that should be tweaked more in this?

depends very much what you want from the ram.

higher freq @ 2.5-3-3-x then try:
read write queue bypass: x8
bypass max: x4

but you may loose overal performance. could try a little more voltage, 2.8-2.85v.

whats you max 32M?

Your tref would give you problems after a while. I found 0128 or 0780 give me the best results. I am using 0128 right now.

try Tref = 4708 , works the best on my TCCD.
You can raise ur Trrd to increase stability , it doesnt hurt performance a whole lot.
Put ur read preamble at 5 ns. Lower your drive strength. Try 7/2 instead of 8/1 .

agree with all of that except the drive strength, both my sets of geil one went well with 8-1, but no harm in trying.

I tried both 7/2 and 8/1 settings. No difference. So I am using 7/2 right now
