Hi.

Just wanna know what your average oc is on a Intel 820D?
Just put together my new rig: Shuttle SD31P with i945G chipset, kingston value ram etc. And would like to know what kind of oc i can expect?

Atm. it“s just running stock with the stock ice heatsink. I“ve had it at 230fsb pretty stable but at 235fsb it went BSOD.

I“m putting together some external wc with a Xice EC900 as the main unit and a single triple heatercore or two so i still can run it almost passively cooled.

So let me know how far you“ve gotten guys :D

maybe 3.5ghz...
the ice cooling is really great and effective :fact:

275 FSB @ 1.525 is the highest I will go on my water setup. I'm sure I could hit 285-290 but would require 1.55+ volts.

3.5ghz+ from a d820 is great imo :)

So far I can run my system stable at 266FSB but my 820D gets very hot since I am on air at the moment (Zal 7000 LED @ 68ish load according to asus probe). I'm scared to go any higher till I get some water on this setup. I run 250FSB for everyday use now just so I don't mess up the chip before it does go under water :p:, but I'm not complaining, 3.5ghz is fast.

ok i guess the 4ghz isn“t that easy to reach after all? Although that my "final goal". I“ll be using this Xice EC900 wc kit: http://www.modthebox.com/review320_1.shtml a nice little passively cooled kit. Furthermore i“ll add 1 or 2 triple heatercores - NeXXos Extreme III (http://www.alphacool.de/xt/product_info.php?products_id=715&cPath=5_34_35) the reason for this is i want to keep it all passively cooled. The pump in the Xice unit should be sufficient as it“s 900L/hrs and 2m head - so i“m still optimistic :D
