Adding 2 logs to the fire this coming week totaling 5.86 Ghz of Netburst fury :p: :toast:

That should bring the total P4 power up to 56.26 Ghz

AMD power is staying steady at 11.25 Ghz although I have idle AXP's collecting dust. (no mobo's) :(

Add logs or the terrorist win!

Once I get stand offs we'll have another log crunching for the collective. Resistance is futile.

Go to your local PC shop... they will generally give you those.

still working on building a new log. only 1 crunching for me is my spare as the main 64 is gone.

how well do pentium d's do (3.3) hopefully with the water it can happen

I'm going to bet it will do great! Probably not as well as two 3.3 rigs... but close ????

I'm going to post a thread about this to find out... I'm curious.

It will be slightly slower as the memory bus becomes highly saturated when crunching after all, but not that much slower than two separate rigs. Faster the memory, the better it will be.

well that depends on whether you are using a standard non-HT P-D or the EE. With the one in my sig it doubles what my 3.4EE@3.7ghz does in the same time.

looking into the 2.8 d. under $250 for a sweetheart little duel core. under the wawa with 2 gigs. with enough of a clockboost it should game alright with the x850xt and still fold in the background. if not the alternative is a 6xx series over 4gig with h/t.

Well from what I hear you should go with the P-D as far as D2OL goes.
