Anyone have any idea why this would happen? and how to prevent it? Everytime i go beyond 269FSB i get this.
System specs:
3Ghz pressie
Corsair XMS DDR400 CAS2
P4C800E deluxe
Radeon 9800

Holy :banana::banana::banana::banana: that's scarry =/
Maybe it's the board itself. BIOS flash?
Hehe, nice monitor, mine's similar.

Do you boot at 201mhz or higher? AGP/PCI is locked? Try locking at higher AGP/PCI frequencies. Your PSU is strong enough? RAM and cpu can handle it? (set RAM to DDR333 or DDR266 if your RAM can't handle it)
Many possibilities, AGP losing it's lock is most likely.

Ah! i do know my AGP/PCI lock does get unlocked above a certain FSB and the USB ports and mouse port doesn't work. I boot at 267FSB.
PSU shouldn't be a problem. RAM is a huge problem almost no room for an overclock have to run it at CAS2.5 and at 3:2.
PS. Since when did the monitor help increase mhz?? :p:

Most definately AGP crapping out cause of AGP/PCI lock.

Tried setting the lock higher but no luck. Lock still breaks, i havn't get my RSOD yet but my mouse and USB ports don't work again. This always happens above 269FSB.
Its a shame if i can't go any further coz the chip still has more room for an overclock, but its hard to bench without a mouse.
