BAndwidth?

I'm on a school network...I have good bandwidth but my cap is at 1500Mb down and 500Mb up every 7 days. Can anyone give me an acurate measurement of bandwidth usage cause I can't afford to get kicked off the net.

I dont think that Dimes will exceed that unless you have a load of machines. But it all depends on what else you do on your conenction as well I suppose.

your lucky our school wont let us run dimes on its machienes (yes java is installed)

I'll put netstat on a box for 24 hours and report back to this thread. Best I can do.

i worked it out at roughly 1gb per machine per month but im not 100% on that. im not sure on how much is up or down though (the figure is for total)

Thank UnG. right now I'm using on average 40% of my down and 20% of my up.

I don't think it uses too much, I've got dial up and I don't notice it at all.
