I know it’s probably hard to get an accurate statistic, Im trying to find some information on how much $ the custom computer building industry takes in annually. What about a company like Alienware, can some one help me find proof of an accurate #? I cannot have guesses I need some thing I can reference too, I have a presentation at work regarding this.
That's pretty hard to research, but Alienware's market share isnt very high.

It's a really niche market. You would probably have to offer something special. A few of my friends have bought PC's from Ibuypower and places liek that. It really depends.

There are several online resources for finding a companies revenues. Two I found with a quick google search were www.skyminder.com and www.harrisinfo.com ... they both had free trials. Another site that looked promising was www.marketresearch.com. I didn't register for free trials or see Alienware on the third site (but I didn't look through all the companies either) but there may be other companies that offer similar custom built services you could look for. I doubt that it would give you industry wide numbers but it may be able to give you some revenues by company ... Good luck!
