Agreed, for the cost of all of those fans you could set up a water loop that would not only be quieter but cooler too.

Its more of a novelty idea than a performance 1. He does say he got the fans free, otherwise you could have got a nice h20 setup for the same or less money.

If you want to go nuts like that, why not just get two box fans and install all the components in a short duct between them? EMI, maybe, but you can't tell me he's well-shielded now...
