I am about to build a regular desktop soon and am getting rid of my dual opteron setup but wanted to see if any of the more experienced crew might forsee any issues with the setup I am looking at.

Motherboard - DFI SLi-DR Expert (waiting on pre-order to come in)
Processor - X2 3800+
Memory - G Skill F1-4800DSU2-1GBFF
Heatsink - TT Big Typhoon w/ AS5
Videocard - 2x BFG 6800 GTOC PCI-E (already had)
Soundcard - Creative SB Live Audigy 2 Value (already had)
Powersupply - PCP&C 850W
Harddrive - 2x74GB Raptors (had 1 ordering another)
miscellaneous floppy and dvdrw drives (already had)

I plan on trying to overclock but am not that worried about it right now. Plan on going watercooling later on but want to get system up and running and see what its potential is first. Just wondering if anyone has ran into issues with any of the above hardware. Thanks and sorry if this in the wrong forum.

get an Audiotrak prodigy instead and
wait to get one of those Raptor2s..
they have NCQ I believe which will get the performance even highier...
and 1 7800gtx would be better.. But it is up to you...

Well I already have the soundcard and both videocards. They are from my current setup and with the cash I am dropping right now I will wait until I sell my old (not really old only used for a couple of months). Then I will look at the videocard and stuff. Just wanting to get the new setup and run from there. There will always be room for future upgrades. Thanks for the input and will have to look into that Audiotrak and 7800 later.

That PSU unit is a bad mofo, but don't you think it's a tad overkill? You can save yourself around $200 and get a PC P&C 510 SLi.

Probably so but I am running a dual powersupply setup right now consisting of the OCZ 600W and TT 680W for my dual opterons and stuff. I plan on going watercooling later so this will just give me head room to make sure I don't have to run dual powersupplies later. I will cover all the expenses on this upgrade by selling off my old hardware. It is a little steep though but I like the unit and being an EE I can appreciate the specs on it.

What is really bad is I am going to have to buy me a temporary motherboard until my SLi-DR Expert comes in. I cannot be without a pc for too long and don't want to sit on parts and not be able to sell my old stuff.
