I just bought the display speakers compusa had cuss they were on sale discountinued item, they work perfect no blown speakers not even a scratch cuss they were behind a plastic case.
Anyway The model is T5400 115w speakers, there better then headphones which hurt youre hearing and sound awsome im drooling. Anyway Doom3 sounds great just Like id imagine it should, the only problem is when Dr betruger taunts you saying in his hellish voice you will never escape blah blah, i cant hear that unless i put a speaker to my ear.
Whats the problem ? I have windows configured for 5.1 surround sound, and my eax control panel for 5.1 speakers, Eax 4.0 is on in the game with surround sound, yes surround sound is working and when sarge or the lady in ressurection of evil talks to you on the radio it works fine, but when i hear something talking in the background like the hellish voice of DR betruger or something i can barely hear it when i put the speaker against my ear, its like all the sound from the game is cancelling out his voice
