How do you like the mouse? does it take awhile to get used to?
and is the symbol in the middle always pulsating? can you take it off?

I'm planning to get one. I love my Diamondback, but it's a little too small. The Copperhead looks sweet. I've got the 518 also, but it sits on the shelf. :)

Bought it. Doesn't work in my machine which had DiamondBack installed.

(this is straight off the package, no tweaking).

I did everything their installation instructions suggested.

No, does not work.

Only works in another machine, but not in my DFI Nf4 Ultra-D.

The tech support is useless.

They bombard you with a stupid list of 24 questions (which are totally unrelated) and once you answer them, they don't answer back.

I recommend you take a look at Logitech G5 as a possible alternative.

I'd love to like this mouse, but due to the fact that it doesn't work reliably and the tech support is useless, it's very hard to like it :)

Halcyon, are you BrianG from nvnews?
Anyway, I hope i'll have better luck with it. I'm sick of Logitech mouses.

ive had mine for qiute a while now, and i think it is a great mouse.

my gaming style is now alot more agressive and considerably better in high speed fps such as ut 2k4 and hl2dm,
in team games such as BF2, DOD:s and CS:s i am also much better thanks to the mouse.

its realy easy to get used to; takes about 30 mins of intensive gaming to feel comfortable then you get used to moving realy fast without moving your hand at all.
The buttons work fine and there is no lag on them or the laser at all and the scroll wheel is ribbed for grip and for control.

I now prefer this mouse to anyother due to its realy seccure, comfortable grip.

you cant disable the lights or the pulse in the middle as far as i can see.

however it has its downsides;

1) can take some time getting used to in each game
2) doesnt work on some rigs due to the very high usb power reqirements
3) 50/50 chance it works properly when you plug it in on my mac.

in summary; its easy to use and sort of easy to get used to,
it improves your preformance even if you camp 24/7 or are the first to die every round,
it looks ace,
it decides wether it works or not in your rig and you need to be able to turn the lights off for lower energy consumption.
