Installed windows xp SP1 illegal first, did NOT work either then
Installed windows xp SP2 legal then, still not working, I'm on the legal SP2 OS atm, fully updated !

Did you format the drive before or did you just run a repair install? If did just run the repair option try writing the zeros to the drive and starting over.
If you don't already, you can slipstream SP2 into your install, cut down time, and possibly fighting the original HDD limitations. I used Autostreamer, couldn't have been easier.

Lookup the error in google and see what you find.

Upgrade to BSD and forget about that crap...

BSD just breaks differently, nothing is perfect unfortunately
Seems to me all those applications use the IP layer and I'm thinking it's network driver issues frankly. I would try, just for the sake of argument a separate NIC and disable whatever is on board.

I concur with UnG, it sounds like a bad network interface to me too.

I'm using a PCI Sound card , tried the on on board too, both things don't work
I swapped another hard disk now
Using PCI Firewire to connect iPod now
swapped ram memory
AND I done a bios flash
Idea's? :)
