I bought a VP191b about 2 months ago from new egg, I noticed after having the thing for about a week that there was a very slight color distortion on the very right side of the screen (the last 2 lines of vertical resolution) It was/is only noticible if I was playing a game or had a wallpaper with lots of color variation. I called viewsonic about this and they said I could send it in to have it looked at or just get it replaced by new egg, so I got it replaced, the new one did the same thing!! I called viewsonic and they confirmed that it came from a different lot then the first one and they were curious about the problem so they had me send it in. First to be sure it wasnt my video card or bad cable I tried it using both vga and dvi on 3 different computers, they all did the same thing!! So the tech at viewsonic said he saw what I was talking about it and upon looking at several differnt 191's they were all the same!! So the conclusion was thats just how it is! They gave me a choice they said I could have the old one back or they would send me a new one my choice.

So if anyone has a VP191 check it out and see if you can see what I'm talking about. I dont really want the old one or the new one, I want it to work. It surprises me that this monitor has been on the market for a while now and I cant find anything about this problem anywere! (maybe I'm crazy, but I did get a tech to admit he saw what I was talking about) I bought it because its supposed to be one of the best.

The only thing I can think of doing is getting the brand new one, ebaying it and with the money get a VP930 (the new model)

Anyways thanks for the input and info, if anyone has any other ideas as far as what I can do I'm all ears

I'm not at my machine hooked up to a vp191b now, but I can't remember having any such problem.

Hmm... maybe I'm crazy or just being to damn picky, I did find one reference to the same problem yesterday in some other forum, so maybe I'm not the only one
