Sounds like a newb question, but I was curious if there are any Windows apps that allow tweaking of the system memory timings from the desktop? I've seen them around nF, but haven't run across anything for an Intel chipset mobo, which is what I am looking for ;)
Thanks!

Apparently not! Sheesh. I was hoping to find something to 1) easier to make timing changes without having to reboot just to test and 2) maybe something that would offer some tighter timings than BIOS gives.
Ah well, I guess I'll just keep working with what I have...

You might be looking for a program called A64 Tweaker or Clockgen

Maybe I was mislead by the name, but doesn't that only work on AMDs with the integrated mem controller? ;) I am looking for something similar for Intel chipsets, but it would probably need to be motherboard/chipset (ie. 955X) specific. No biggie...I was just hoping to not have to reboot 1000x playing with mem timings, but I don't think there's any way around it...

Sorry, I didn't see you had Clockgen tacked on there. As of yet, there are none for the P5WD2, but I wasn't aware they did mem timings too (since I haven't been able to use it ;)
Thanks for the reply though...

Clockgen doesn't have mem timmings. Did you try the A64 tweaker? I was told it could work with intel also.

Thanks guys. I did download that yesterday and it looks very nice, but I didn't mess around with it long enough to really check it out. I'll dig deeper into to it today ;)
