Many of you have probably seen doom running on an ipod. Well in order to do this you need to load linux on your ipod. I'm looking into doing this but i know nothing about linux. Anyone done this or anyone wanna help me out?

Ok well...no thanks to your guys ;) I got directions from This site (http://rodrigokim.zeropoke.net/index.php?op=ViewArticle&articleId=12&blogId=3)
This procedure is harder on Second Gen mini's but not that hard. With 0 knowledge of linux I am now dual booting Linux(Pokezilla interface) and the default Apple interface. The main advantages are more games :) including doom, snake, pong etc. If anyone wants to try this and needs some help I think I could show you how to do it now. Pics in a few minutes

You should put netbsd on it...
It runs on anything including a toaster...

I'm not sure if that would work...I think this Distro was made specificaly for the Ipod, plus this already has anything I could want in an OS. Well Except for terrible music playback but thats what I have the mac interface for

pretty neat that you got that done, and a good opportunity to see the wonders of linux
