Anyone know where I can buy these in the US? I've tried Ebay and googled them up with no avail. Any help? I wanted to buy the copper ones to put on my 7800 gtx.

Now, somthing random. Anyone see the Leadtec 7800gtx? They stole the heatsink from the fx45000 and mounted it on their 7800gtx. Bet it loads at 50c. :slobber:

Are you getting those for show? Because RAMsinks (except for the new Mushkins) typically lower the OC. And no, I don't think they can be had in the US....but others can if you're alright with them.

And about the Quadro cooler....it's actually not THAT good because the fan is so underpowered (but it's SILENT). With a better fan it might be able to hold 50C....but it can't beat good ol' water cooling--36C loaded ova here! ;)

How could they lower an OC? Bad conductivity? The RAM spreader that's on there now is really hot to the touch, and is why I wanted to upgrade it to somthing better. I'm going to modify an nb-1c to the mosfets which get incredibly hot..

They lower the OC by trapping the heat and overall making the entire module hotter--a simple fan over sinkless fan is the best way to go typically.

A fan over the mosfets will do wonders as well....sounds like you need airflow more than better sinks.

I've never heard of a heatsink on a mosfet not helping to cool it down. It depends what you conduct them with. A fan on the back of my video card wont help much, because there are so little surface area on the ram.

OHHHHH, that kind of RAM?! So sorry....I googled Revoltec and saw heatspreaders for DIMMs. Umm, yeah, I like the OCZ Copper BGA sinks--they're very good for BGA RAM.

As for the MOSFETS, are these on the board or the card?

I presume THESE (http://www.revoltec.de/produkte/rs013.htm) are the ones you need?
They can be found pretty easily over here.
Why not get the OCZ ramsinks from a store in the US? They're about the same size and the total price, incl. shipping from the EU to the US for the revoltec ones would be more than if you buy the OCZ ones over there.

15$ incl shipping at newegg for the OCZ ones (ETA 10/12):

Frozen CPU has sinks that they claim aire "theirs". However, they sure look like revoltec ones to me.

It's alright vapor you were scaring me! lol

Those do look like revoltecs, wouldn't be surprised if they were.

The OCZ sinks are good, I have some vantec ones which are the same size accept ocz's have longer fins.

Thanks for finding them! I forgot about looking at frozen cpu.

Yea, im talking about the mosfets at the end of the video card which get supper hot. I wish the artiv silencer 5 revision 3 included mosfet cooling... too bad.:(
