Looks pimp. 2 complaints though.
1. What did your pumps do to you that you're torturing them in such a manner?
2. Do you know what happens when water leaks from the barbs? Feel sorry if that ever happens to you, and you got LOTS of barbs there.
In all, looks very pimp. Nice job.

hello again :)
right after having it all rigged up iv encounterd some rather big problems i need to get solved.
1.The bip tripple is at its max it takes almost 8 mins to pull back down to idel temp
2. the second problem is there is a lot of hot air accumilating in the case that cant escape. somthing i dint invisige during the planning :( , which means anything that dosnt have a waterblock will heat up drasticly aka the psu.
the old plan
http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y266/Sc4mpi2/bh2/loop2.jpg
basicly
(intake) 3x120mm 1x120mm = 60cfm (aprox) 3x60cfm = 180cfm
(exaust) 2x80mm 1x80m = 30cfm (aprox) 2x30 = 60cfm
that kinda sums it up, there is less than half the hot air being vented from the case,
so i got my tapemesure out and started thinking a way around the problem and this is what iv come up with
the new plan
http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y266/Sc4mpi2/bh2/revisedloopp.jpg
if the res is moved to a bay mount with a fill pipe or some sort hidden behind the mobo tray to allow filling whilst case if vertical and the dvd-rw is put into a external caddy (i hardly every use it :S)
then there is enought room to fit a bip dual 120mm up there with 2 vantec stealths and a aquacomputer dual 120mm grill.
This would not only add the cooling by alowing the hot air to be exausted out the top (since the rad would be at the opposite end of the loop)
but it would also create a perfect ballence for the air flow
(intake) 3x120mm ,1x120mm = 60cfm (aprox) 3x60cfm = 180cfm
(exaust) 2x80mm + 2x120mm ,1x80m = 30cfm (aprox) ,1x120mm = 60cfm (aprox) 2x30 = 60cfm 2x30cfm+3x60 = 180cfm
so 180cfm in and 180cfm out which to me seems a much better setup :)

well this project is kinda coming to a close its near enough finshed bar the 2 back fans. any way the bip daul got fitted, the dual 80gig seagates were relaced with 2 74gig raptors, and psu was swapped out for a pcp&c 510sli so it fitted nicly in behind the rad. (tagen was 175 mm long, the pcp&c 140mm long)
anyways some pics :)

Those two pumps simply have no pressure, and with all those blocks, a massive rad, small id tubing, and all those bends and elbow fittings, you were getting like zero flow. Also, all those blocks on one rad was too much.
Other than the fact that from a performance stand point this system is far from excellent, it sure does look awesome and I bet it's rather quiet.
Sc4mpi
10-20-2005, 03:58 PM
its cold, well cold enough for me , and quite to :) (theres 2 rads in there btw, and it still has enough flow to make a jet affect at the front of the res, i wasnt looking for amazing performance as its 10mm. but i wanted it quite, somthing my other 1/2" rigs havnt been

the delta in the pcp&c was replaced with a papst 80mm i had laying about :) the top rad is blowing air out the case and it seems to remove a lot of heat off the psu, the case is cold to the touch as i said.
Err, grill is a aquacomputer evo 240 , the one in the fans at the bottem is a custom one i got made to fit the rack.

It worked out cheaper for me to finshed it off with innovatek blocks as i had the gpu blocks laying about there 6800 blocks that i modded to fit the 7800's, and the rest was mostly cheaper that the 1/2" counter parts also u dont think i realy could have fitted it all this in with 1/2"

Long time no updates: Purly cause i dint have a cam but hey, here we go :)
well theres some smallish updates coming in the bh2 way, iv noticed the flow seems to be getting lower and lower recenty , so im guessing there could be a blockage somewere, either that or the three 1/8" blocks are just killing the flow so dam much, so i got to come up with a solution for that,
i managed to get a couple of flow meters that i can rig into the aquaero to monitor it all, plus iv got a cunning plan for spliting it out, since theres 2 pumps and 2 rads already in it, i could almost run it as two seperate loop sharing the same res 1/4" on one, and 1/8th on the other, which will solve the problems with the 1/8" blocks
i also rigged up the aquaero relay mode, so that if anything stops or jitters it will trigger the emergency shutdown (the aquaero is directly wired into the powerswitch) and it works (unpluged one of the the pumps for a simulated fault, and it shuts down :D this is were the Aquaero realy is worth its cost
well the solution to the problem, wasnt that hard to work it out in the end :)

hmm awesome work man .. one of the best i have seen ..
that lian li case .. would there be enough room to run the bip III with 1/2 tubing .. while cooling 2x sli'd 512mb gtxs and a cpu block ?
all 1.2 tubing ? i would just run the bip III on the bottom ..
also where is the tubing routed from the barbs of the rad on the bottom .. is there really enough room ?

the bip 3 at the bottem was one of the biggest challenges in the entire project. the cd rack had to be modded. and the rad shifted to the window side of the case to clear the mobo headers, and even now it only has 2mm max clearence, personaly i would say no to the 1.2" idea but if you plan it, it may be depnds what gfx blocks you use it would haft to be maze 4's . the problem would be were would you put you pumps, and what res would you have. also depends on the mobo.
