antifreeze/distilled water, 10/90.

"antifreeze/distilled water, 90/10."
thats a lot of antifreeze ;)
As for additives, use 10% Zerex racing coolant.

and don't use antifreeze, its nasty stuff. Use racing coolant (ie zerex) or other coolant that is supposed to be added to antifreeze

Definitely wc. Look at it this way: the best air cooler on the market (Big Typhoon) is still only equivalent to low-cost water cooling.

why wont the pump hold up ? i know the via aqua isnt a good performer but it still works. ill of had mine running a watercooling for a year next month and have yet to have it die or cause me a problem.

Use the MCP655 that is a nice pump, a pump with 300 GPH powa or more will be nice for the storm, i own it and is really kool ;)

actually, your second reason doesn't hold water (hehe, I made a pun), because the storm is still the best block down until stupidly low flow rates where other blocks (mcw600x which is good with any flowrate) might begin to beat it. but yeah its still ludicrously expensive :)

antifreeze/distilled water, 10/90.
I read that as 10% anti, 90% h2o :fact:

if all your parts are made of cooper you dont need any coolant, just Destilated Water.
But anyway a very good mix is, 95% Water nd 5% coolant, I recomend Valvoline Zerex ;)
