HeeHee... got my (Legit, thank you), VMWare disc today... Thanks for the donation bazza86 ;)

Plan to run 1VM for DIMES... would run 2, but methinks that would kill my D2OL candidates... Unless someone wants to tell me different...

Any other tips for this?

Watch out above me on the stats (Though thewildblue is probably safe...)

Those VMs are brilliant for stats. Just run minimum ram for each and on 512mb you should be able to get 4 or 5 going np, if its a standalone machine.

It's a networked Standalone box, but also Crunches D2OL... I don't mind taking a *bit* of a hit on D2OL, but Methinks it'll smack it about a bit running 4 or 5 VM's

If I'm wrong, lemme know, I want to beat Cruncher Inc by a large margin, every single day. 5VM's should help that quite a bit

Running a single OS (with 384mb assigned to virtual machine) in vmware with a gig of ram leaves ~ 600 free which is useable 24/7 unless you wanna game. CPU % wise its not a massive hit either tbh, if you were running 4 or 5 it might be a little more noticable however

VM1 seems to boost stats a bit, and not hurt D2OL too much, so VM2 installing now... :banana:

Should have a decent production on Sunday (All comps on all day... XP1700, XP2400+ 2 VM's and XP2000)

I'm gonna try out a few VMs too. Maybe I can get my prior output back. just hope it doesn't affect d2ol too much. We'll see.

HeeHee... love VMware... hit nearly 11K yesterday... 6th in XS Production :woot:

If I can get another cheap disc, it's going on the GF's rig...

This works on virtual PC as well folks, you can download a trial edition from MS I believe.
