I have a problem where upon installing the newest official beta NV 81.84 forceware, when I have only a single CRT connected to my SLI system, it shows up as primary and secondary, as if I had two monitors. Uninstalling one of them or both of them doesnt help. As soon as I reboot, windows detects two displays again, and it's the same monitor, my CRT.
How can I get rid of one of them?

try going to display properties, on the tab that you change resolution, click on secondary monitor, say for example monitor number 2, then at the bottom uncheck "extend my desktop onto this monitor"

as far as i know the pc will detect a "ghost" monitor by default purely because there are two outputs on your graphics card.....

umm, you do have two outputs, dont you?

haha, if not then rather wait for a guru to reply.....:)

just checked, nope, actually it doesnt do that....hahaha, slap me.....

does it really matter?

just follow the universal problem solver of not and NEVER using BETA drivers and expecting Final release spec's.....

or just do what bill does, format and reload......
