Maze4GPU Mounting

Well i just got my maze4gpu for my 6800gt and i looked on DD site but their directions havent really been updated for the newer cards, so is this how it would go?


Block
Washer
Videocard
Neoprene
Backplate
Washer
Spring
Thumb Nut



is that correct?

I did it as follows:
block | card | washer | spring | washer | backplate | thumb nuts

I figured the neprene was not needed as no metal parts make contact with the card ??

block, card, neoprene, backplate, washer (that spring can fit ontop of), spring, nut thing (varies by revision of mounting kit)

What's the point of the backplate if you do it that way? I thought it was supposed to even the pressure from the springs on the card.

Thanks crimedog, thas closest to what i thought, but why on eath would they give me 8 washers?

you were given 8 washers because you are supposed to put one on the bottom and the top of each spring.
