Anyone know what the temp should be on a geforce3 or 4. And what are a couple methods of getting temp besides DD5.

My voltmeter has a temp probe built into it. Other than that there are some little screens (can't think of the names) that you can buy just for that.
As far as the temp, I'm not sure, but the Manufacturers specs allow vidcards to get damn hot and still be within operating temps. Too hot if you ask me. One I read was when they were testing some Guilmont cards, they said they weren't going to put a fan on it untill it got to 160F.

I have one of the probes from my DD5 stuck between the gpu cooler and it is reading 35c

That's what I did, on the edge of the gpu anyway, but that's gonne be about as acurate as you're gonna get I believe.

Yea I know it will be off a couple of degrees. But it,s better then nothing
