Hey, ive been reading around this forum and a lot of others and have learned a lot about building a PC. So.. i am going to build one :p: . what i plan to get is in my sig. i hear water cooling is really good if you keep your room cold.. i keep my room around 60-70 with my AC. ive got a few questions:
1. What should i get for watercooling (name all parts please.. everything.. even liquid) ..all from same shop
2. Was thinking maybe the swiftech apex.. i hear its pretty good for a kit and it all comes together. answer yes or no.
3. Would someone building their first pc be able to install WC... any really good tutorials i should read?
4. is the pc-65b big enough?

I want to order the case, power supply and everything i need for watercooling from the same store because shipping is really expensive to hawaii.

I want my case to look like this kind of but instead of those black wire tubes i want UV green, and UV green water dye. then im gonna set up 2 UV lights in the case.

Honestly, I would go air cooling on my first build, but if you do go water the Swiftech kit is the way to go. PC-65B is a good size since that radiator installs externally.

No extra power supply is needed for regular water cooling. The Swiftech Apex is very good and includes pretty much everything you need except for distilled water which can be bought at any super market. As to building tutorials, just look at a detailed build log if you can find one of someone making a custom water cooling set up or look through the water cooling case gallery to get an idea of how its supposed to go together.

4. is the pc-65b big enough?i DO NOT recommend water cooling your PC if this is your first build ever. however, there's nothing stopping you. so to answer the questions...
1. you said you wanted the apex kit... that's all you need. you could maybe get a GPU block as well.**
2. it is a good kit. yes.
3. i'd recommend against it actually, but it would be really nice. maybe you could just order the PC parts and run on air cooling for a while, then get into water cooling when you feel you are ready.
4. yea, it's big enough. i don't recommend this case tho since there are no 120mm fan areas. try something else.

that is not a very good setup. there are two rads, which will impede flow, better to have just one radiator. there are a lot of splits in the lines (from what i can tell in that pic). you'll do much better with the apex kit.

** There are two schools of water cooling really. there's the silent driven and the performance driven and then there's a mix of both. the trick to water cooling is getting the ingedients (radiator, pump, blocks) just right to fit your needs and wants balanced.

1. You'll need a rad, a pump, cpu waterblock (swiftech storm 5), gpu waterblock(maze4) and then you'll need tubing and hose clamps or zipties.

2. the swiftech apex kit is great and not to big but ONLY cools the cpu.

3. Sure it's possible if you read up on it alot around this site and others.

4. Yes the pc-65b will be big enough to hold the swiftech apex kit but i would go with the pc75
