Depends on if you want silence or the best cooling. The Pro is more efficient with low speed silent fans than the Xtreme.

Pro is more efficient with up to around 80CFM fans (~35dBA fans). After that, the Xtreme begins to take over, but the margin is never large until you get to stupidly loud fans (>50dBA).

Would suggest you also look at the new PA120.3 which should be on the market in the next week or so.

It should beat both, and still be pretty quiet while doing so.

Thermochill is always quite expensive though. Like you could get a better pump and 2x bip3's for the price of the current 120.3's almost.

i got the bix3 and im using low speed fans...so am i getting worse performance than i would if i were to have a bip3 with the same fans???

Regarding your last question....that's correct. You're worse off with the bix than you are with bip with your fans.
