The Kitty Litter 2005 Self-Contained Video Card Cooling Unit Deluxe Rev. 1.0, or simply the KL2K5. (The deluxe denotes the presence of the air bleeder/filler at the top of the resevoir and fan speed control knob.) It's built in a kitty litter box using a heater core, Eheim 1250, an AC fan from a 19" computer cabinet, a resevoir built from 2" ABS tubing, and a DD Maze4 GPU WB.

I was using a Zalman to cool my x700 Pro and it was doing a good job until I installed a sound card which sat directly underneath the Zalman almost touching it and my temps went from 33c to 42c degrees standing and up to 50c degrees during gameplay due to lack of air flow to the fan. Now they're right around 30 and the unit is silent compared to the Prommy. At the next system build I'll add a chipset block; I didn't feel like discombooberating my rig just for that when my crystal orb seems to be working fine.

And you thought all I did was the "Speak Freely" forum, shame on you.... :cool:

You can laugh at it, you just can't laugh AT it. As far as cooling goes, it rocks. That's a 250cfm AC fan pulling air through the heater core, and it doesn't need to be turned up to where it's much past audible. The bucket is sturdy and roomy enough for all the parts, the lid snaps on tight enough to ensure proper airflow through the heater core, and it comes with the cool carrying handle too. Plus, I don't have to worry about leaks, they just clump.
