Yes you read that correctly.. and no I am not lying.
Bill Adams, recently was "acquired" by CoolingWorks, who makes the CoolRad 12-T which i recently reviewed. Bill is now the CTO of coolingworks and will be leading the engineering and optimizing of Coolingworks products.

What I am more interested in is why Bill left Swiftech in the first place...
BUT I do see alot of reasoning in Bill going to coolingworks. Recently bill has been doing alot of work on radiators and so has coolingworks.. The two companies have also been in contact with eachother due to their OEM partnership.. So I suppose the writing was on the wall, it was just in very small gray print.

Leave the reasons where they belong - between Bill n' Gabe...
But yes, this does explain Bill's resurfacing on the forums. Part of his Swiftech contract basically resulted in no forum useage for one reason or another... Bill certainly gave Swiftech a big heave in the right direction during his time there, and he can only do the same or better with CoolingWorks. I look forward to seeing what they produce next... congrats to Erick n' Bill on the new team-up!

I think this is a good thing.
Swiftech have obviously raised the bar a notch with the storm kits.
It will be interesting to see what coolingworks come up with to compete.
Even if they cant get much better performance wize if theycan get close and cut the cost ... then its all good :D
Plus I think swiftechs kits could look sexyer.

You should read the watercooling articles at overclockers.com, then

I'm not sure that it'll be a situation of the two companies being in competition with each other... as far as I know CoolingWorks provide the rads that Swiftech use (I could be wrong tho but sure I read that somewhere over at ProCooling.com), & reservoirs that both Swiftech and DangerDen use... they're more of an OEM Parts Producer in the background supporting a lot of the big names out there - including Corsair. If anything this puts Bill in a position to directly improve the quality and design behind a LOT of companies' products rather than a single companies... possibly of larger benefit to the cooling scene...
But I'm just assuming....

HAve you ever seen the movie "Rockstar" with Marky Mark? The story of Bill Adams is kinda like that. Kinda.

The ultimate pump perhaps... or possibly the ultimate radiator.. (though I hope thermochill did it this time)
In any case, I'm sure whatever you, Erick, and whoever else is working at the Widget factory will come up with some great products

Maxxx, i thought the ultimate pump was the iwaki MD20 ????
and the ultimate rad was the Weapon Core ???
and the ultimate block was a Storm G4,G5, G7 :toast:
and the ultimate tubing was tygon:D
oh boy a whole bunch of ultimates there.... :fact:
PS im not sure who bill is... but welcome back :slap: " insert theme song from welcome back kotter here"

nah, Md20 is far from ultimate; RD-20 is better. Theres even better yet to come
weapon cores are definitely not ultimate rads. PA120.Xes should be better (=they will be)
G4, G5, G7 are pretty much the limits on the waterblock frontier
tygon is frickin expensive :-P
BillA is god :)
