Need to get a new vga cooler to replace my broke VF-700Cu.

I know by reputation that the 7700Cu equivalent CPU cooler from Primecooler (Hypercool 4+) is rather good if not better than the Zalman (and even XP-90 and XP-120).

Would this be the same case regarding their VGA cooler?

It depends on the price difference, but I wouldn't trust Primecooler too much. Their Super Silent fans are no where near silent, and don't even show the slightest dab of grease when taken apart.

Get the Zalman again. :)

I got one to replace my stock X800 cooler, temps went from 66 idle to 36 idle.

What happened to your VF700? I was wondering how it is possible to brake it because I've had no problems so far with any of zalman coolers including vf700.

Should not be a problem as long as 7800 has 2 holes for screws.

Thanks for the reply KIWI.
Have you seen this new Fatal1ty FS-V7 zalman?
All hype for the Fatality name or is it their newer version of the VF700.
