Lower Speed HT CPU's

I remember hearing that Intel was releasing lower speed P4's with HT enabled, I believe starting at 2.4GHz. That was before X-mas, and I haven't heard anything since. Has anyone else heard any news/rumours about this?


I am about to buy a P4, but if these HT versions are going to be out soon (within a month) I can wait...

Intel will release Hyper-Threading enabled, 800MHz FSB Pentium 4s ranging from 2.4GHz to 3.2GHz (in 200MHz increments) sometime in Q2 which is not within a month, unfortunately.

They'll probably appear sometime in late April or early May when Springdale arrives.

Hmm.....well that's disappointing. I was hoping to get a HT P4 for my IT7. I don't imagine an 800MHz FSB P4 would work without some serious modding
